Panah Project

פָּנָה (panah)
Hebrew verb meaning to turn—to direct or turn one's face toward something. In Exodus 3:3, Moses says I will turn aside to approach and behold the burning bush that is not consumed.

This is a project to call the Church to turn to the living GOD, to face the other in love, and to become responsible. It is undertaken from an awareness of living after Auschwitz and Kolyma, and yet having seen the glory of the LORD, heard his voice and received his love. In this spirit this project seeks to redemptively rework traditional dogma, to cast aside all forms of totalizing theory and praxis—all religious attempts to avoid the face—and to fully extend the call to turn to GOD and one another in love, to enter his covenant, and to become responsible.
